An Old Drawing

One day in December 2005, I was on the way to work by MTR. Everyone was busy on their own things during the journey to work. It was so crowd in the train, I could barely see the opposite passages. Through the gap of other formal suits made, I saw a touching image.

How long have you touched your parents' hands?

Don't wait until their hands got too much wrinkles.

Adult painting workshop

It is always good to paint! Today we got a big group of adult students to do bag painting. I love meeting new people who are trying to know more about art.

They did very well today!!

It is never too late to paint!

Collage Owly

hi there,

I have been working about Owls lately!!!

This is a collage owly made  by magazine paper~

Firstly, i found some flower pattern so I planned to make them as background.  Not yet glue them. 

And I sketched an owl in the middle by pencil.

And then I glued the bottom flower pattern first so that I could build the branch for the owl standing by some reddish-brown magazine paper. Also some green for leaves.

Then I found an image of sunset which brought that beautiful reddish-brown gradient. I used them for the wing of owl. And i grabbed some same green as leave for the body too.

So I put the top flower pattern back, and grabbed a pink paper for owl's head.

At this stage, I tried different color paper for the owl's head. But they seemed not matching well. Then I tried the flower patter, it worked!!! Here is the final collage owly!

Charity Owly dolls

That day, we joined the TeaPot workshop for making some owl dolls for children in China. I have  invited some friends to go together! We picked different pattern and materials, and combined them into an owl! 

We enjoyed the time there so much!!! Thanks!

Next day, I made one more at home and sent it back to the centre.

They have arrived China, World Vision centre!!
